Child and Youth Care Training Program

Most of the courses in this program are accessible in Livingwaters in a flexible delivery style, which uses a hybrid delivery model. Some coursework is available online, while others can be finished in person.

The programme will give you access to a wide variety of intervention, preventive, and treatment options to help children, adolescents, and families who require support with their emotional, social, developmental, or mental health make positive changes. In-depth instruction and training in behavioural theories, methods, and a fundamental knowledge of evaluation, intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and activities with children and youth will be provided to you.

About The Program

What You Will Learn In The Classroom

The Child and Youth Care Training Program at Livingwaters College will equip you to support the healthy development of kids, teens, and their families. Foundational knowledge in baby, child, and adolescent development, relational practise principles for child and youth care, family dynamics, evidence-based or evidence-informed intervention modalities, group dynamics, cultural humility, and therapeutic activities are all included in the curriculum.
